Creating Video With The iPad2

I haven’t really used the cameras as much as I’d like on my iPad2. So today, I set the device up on my desk and created a video blog entry (vlog!). After I recorded the video, I edited it on the iPad in the iMovie app. I learned as I went along. Here’s some of my observations about the process:

Designing A Leadership Development Program Checklist

Yesterday I acknowledged a mistake I was making in my work to develop student leaders (post link: My Latest Leadership Development Mistake). Thank you to those who took the time to affirm me. I love the process of learning. In fact, the mistakes are a teaching tool for me. If I’m not making mistakes, I’m not pushing hard enough. But …

My Latest Leadership Development Mistake

I’m in the business of developing leaders. I think about it…a lot. I read about it…a lot. I talk about it…you get the idea. Why I’m Buying An iPad2

Yup. I’m buying an iPad2. In fact, I’m going to go wait in line at Best Buy for the 5pm release on Friday, March 11. I’m excited. Some of my friends and followers have asked me a simple question when I bring it up: Why? So here’s a brief rundown of my reasons.

The Best Version Of You

There are a number of versions of you (and me) out there. In 1955, Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham developed an interpersonal relationship and communication tool known as the Johari Window. This tool placed the various perspectives of “you” into four basic quadrants. Open:  This is the version of you that everyone (including yourself) can see. Hidden:  This is the …
